PURPOSE OF THE BYLAW: Bylaw 866-P-03-23 is an updated Off-Site Levy Bylaw.

Off-site levies are a charge collected to build new infrastructure outside or “off” a development site that is required to serve new developments and support growth. The Municipal Government Act gives authority for municipalities to collect this charge and identify the parameters when off-site levies apply to a subdivision or development.

PUBLIC HEARING TIME, DATE AND LOCATION: May 23rd, 2023, at 5:05 pm in the Second Flood Meeting Room at Civic Square located at #200, 1801 20th Avenue, Coaldale, AB, T1M 1N1.

GIVING INPUT ON THE PROPOSED BYLAW: Input on the proposed bylaws can be given prior to or at the public hearing. Please note attendance at the public hearing.

Anyone wishing to speak at the public hearing should contact Cameron Mills, Director of Growth and Investment at (403) 345-1370 by no later than 12 pm, Friday, May 19th, 2023 for instructions on how to speak on their own behalf at the meeting.

Alternatively, written comments can be sent by email to cameron.mills@coaldale.ca, dropped off, or mailed to the Town Office at #200, 1801 20th Avenue, Coaldale, AB T1M 1N1. Written comments must be received no later than 4 pm, Wednesday, May 17th, 2023.
