The Town of Coaldale is processing a Road Closure Bylaw (Bylaw 913-P-02-25) in order to facilitate the realignment of an internal road network within the North Industrial Area Structure Plan. The proposed road closure will result in the disposal of the road allowance through consolidation with adjacent lots, and will allow for the dedication of a new road located to the west of the current allowance.
Public Hearing for proposed Road Closure Bylaw 913-P-02-25 will be held at 5:00 PM on September 15, 2025 during the Regular Council Meeting at Civic Square (1801 20 Avenue, Coaldale).
Anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed Bylaw should, in writing, notify the Town of Coaldale no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday September 9, 2025. Both written and verbal presentations may be made to Council at the Public Hearing. Comments can be dropped off at the Town Office during regular business hours, or emailed to Cameron Mills, Director of Growth and Investment at cameron.mills@coaldale.ca.
